WHAT A WEEK!

monday, tuesday, and wed. started off with chaos. our first test of the semester was on wed. probably the preperation and anxiety ive ever had for a test. the good news i didnt do as bad as i thought and the bad news.... i guess is i didnt get an A... o well. now we all know what to expect. the next day i had my second clinical experience. the first clinicals began with a fire extiguisher grenade being thrown in the dining room. this second clinical experience began with a movie like situation. keep in mind the movie Devil came out friday. me along with my instructer, mrs. campbell, and 7 other group mates got stuck in the elevator. it was the longest 5 mins of my life. finally the elevator opened up and we were released. after the experience i felt as if i could do anything! i was confident the rest of the day, just thankfull to be alive. the clinical experience involved a decent amount of patient care and helped us all to become more comfortable in the hospital enviroment.

  1. Glad we survived....it was touch and go there for a minute or ten! So what will be our next clinical drama....bomb threat? someone coding? Can we just have one where it's nice and "within defined limits"...can't say normal!

  2. Oh man! I got stuck in an elevator with about 15 other people once. Not fun. But I'm glad that it made you feel better for the rest of the day. I think it would have just stressed me out.

  3. I see now I wasn't the only one thinking we are going to die in the elevator at TMH!
